Sludge traps
Sludge traps are essential devices in water treatment. They trap and separate the heavy matter present in wastewater. Silt traps work by gravity: sand, gravel, sludge and other denser materials settle to the bottom of the silt trap. In this way, sludge traps help to prevent these pollutants from being released into the environment.
Types of use
The sludge traps are ideal for pre-treatment of service stations, car washes, car parks, hydrocarbon storage areas or technical areas, for surfaces ranging from 1 to 50,000 m².
