History

In 1991, Gilles Dutoit created TECHNEAU, a company specialising in the design and marketing of water treatment and pumping equipment.

Its activity will then extend to floor drain equipment.

The company, in full growth, creates an export department in 1996. To meet its new needs, commercial subsidiaries were created:

  • TECHNEAU CZ, Czech Republic in 2000,
  • TECHNEAU PL, Poland in 2002,
  • TECHNEAU ES, Spain in 2008.

In 1998, Gilles DUTOIT founded PLASTEAU, a company specialising in the rotational moulding of polyethylene. Initially focused on the production of tanks to be integrated into TECHNEAU products, Plateau quickly developed its own range of products for the recovery and reuse of rainwater.

CHAUDREAU was established in 2001 to meet the need for the production of steel tanks, hydraulic equipment and soil drainage equipment.

In 1999 TECHNEAU is certified to ISO 9001, in 2003 to NF EN ISO9001 : 2000, and then obtains the CE Marking.

Turnover will continue to grow. In 2000, it was € 10.3 million, in 2013 it will be € 21.2 million, 15 % of which will be exported.

Currently it is a competence center representing 165 employees in three companies working in synergy, TECHNEAU, PLASTEAU, CHAUDREAU on an 8 hectares site including 10 000 m2 of offices and workshops.
